Karen Konnerth shares insight from over twenty five years of experience as a teaching artist. Working in collaboration with classroom teachers, she has developed countless lesson plans to successfully motivate learning through the empowering media of puppetry. She shares specific techniques and formats to engage students from Pre-K through grade 6. Through collaborative learning, using inexpensive and easy-to-find materials, she demonstrates methods to motivate as well as assess classroom learning through the rich and mesmerizing art form of puppetry.
